| *Brooks Arthur has been an integral part of Bruce Springsteen's early recording career, whereby Brooks and Bruce Springsteen's manager, Mike Appel, shepherded (and Brooks engineered in part) Bruce's debut album Greetings From Asbury Park and the then much-anticipated follow-up LP, The E-Street Shuffle. Brooks designed the recording set-up and tailored the acoustics so it would be "Springsteen Ready." He was at the console with his engineering discovery, Louis Lahav, for the basic track of "Born To Run." All of these were recorded at Brooks' 914 Recording Studio in Nyack, New York, 1972-75. |
